Zoom match by monitor distance
When you zoom or aim down sights, the view narrows. Pick how far from the centre of the screen your flicks usually land; this works out the zoomed turn rate that reaches that spot with the same hand movement as hip-fire.
At 0% monitor distance, the zoomed view should turn
0.557×
as fast as hip-fire: 62.84 cm per full turn while zoomed.
| Monitor distance | Turn-rate multiplier | Zoomed cm/360 |
|---|---|---|
| 0% | 0.557 | 62.84 |
| 25% | 0.5691 | 61.50 |
| 50% | 0.6001 | 58.32 |
| 75% | 0.6396 | 54.72 |
| 100% | 0.6796 | 51.50 |
0% matches tiny movements near the crosshair (the focal-length match); 100% matches flicks to the screen edge. Games apply zoom sensitivity differently: some take this multiplier directly, some a percentage, some their own scale. This page gives the target turn rate; check your game’s setting description, then test with the 360 check while zoomed.
